Maths department computer rooms. They're rage-inducingly slow, though.

    Try LG12 or Maths.

As Jonathan said, LG 12. There's like a dozen Debian machines in there, but AFAIK they only work accept SCSS logins(have never tried with my ISS password).

Go into the maths department from the Hamilton ground floor. Then go up 2 flights of stairs, turn right and they're at the end of the corridor, approximately. At each landing of the stairs there's a little sign telling you what is to be found on that floor, so it should say "Computer Labs" or something (in case I've told you the wrong floor).

Though your college login won't work with the maths department computers. You need to register for a new account with them - and they might not accept people that aren't in maths/tp/science.

That said, they're almost unusably slow anyway. I'd say stick to LG12. Or get a netsoc account, go to any of the non-linux labs and use NoMachine to connect to cube.

You guys know you can get a remote, graphical linux session on any PC on campus?

    http://code.matrix.netsoc.tcd.ie/projects/netsoc/wiki/NX

Install it in your user space and log in with your netsoc account.
