    Well folks.
I just purchased this controller to use with serato even tho it's optimized for traktor.
I have a problem with the jog wheel and some of the lights.
According to serato these are not mappable but I have heard that bomes midi translator and other programs can be used to correct theses problems.
I have no problem mapping everything else.

So i was wondering could anybody share some of their expertise on this matter? Thanks.

    Map it manually, simple as.

If it sends normal MIDI messages it should be no different to anything else.

A man if you had asked me earlier I would have no bother.
I've sent it back and I'm waiting for 1000 s
It's a nice piece of kit tho. Just had one unit as it controls two decks.
    Thanks for the replies anyway.

    Sorry bout late reply.
Yes it can control both decks. The buttons light up red on the right deck and blue on the left. This is operated by a deck change button.
It's a nicebit of gear and if your using traktor the jog wheel will be invaluable.

I was thinking about getting one but as a set. It would be like DJing while missing an arm if I only had one controller.

Any laptop powerful enough to run Traktor / VirtualDJ should have enough ports. If not, you can use a powered hub.

got mine yesterday but cant get the dam thing to work with traktor.

plugged in the usb and got the usual xp "device is ready to use"

some of the lights on it light up grand.

downloaded the traktor pro tsi and put it in the traktor>general settings>controllers>denon folder.

started traktor and clicked settings>controller manager>import and it looked like it imported fine, but when two tracks are loaded up the play/pause button doesnt light up and its like traktor isnt actually reading the controller.

uninstalled traktor and done a fresh install, icluding all settings from my documents.

it wasnt listed at the controller section of the traktor install, so just picked no controller. put the tsi in the folder ect again and when i clicked import the tsi had vanaished.

keeps doing it now...cant get the fookin software to read the controller..am i doing something wrong? the instructions make no mention of requiring any additional drivers for it like. and theres no drivers on the denon site in anyways.

    plug and play me ar$e,
sum1 please help!! wanna get rockin my lates downloads, "RA's 100 best tracks of 2010"

    cheers,

    rob
