    It was a US site that hosted a fortnightly podcast that was quite good ( possibly a little long winded). They also did $100 hamburger flights which were quite nice - bascially a kind of guided flight with charts and recommendations. They have been going for a few years. Hopefully it'll be back soon.

    Are there other FS sites worth visiting-in particluar Irish ones?

    Sounds like an interesting site, hopefully it will come back online soon and ill check it out.
    Apart from pcpilotsireland.com and Irish va's, I dont know any other ones..
