Hi, I spoke to a guy in Connaught Gold store on Friday, he said on Saturday (today) they are selling briquettes for 3euro a bale for one day only!!

I think this is a great offer, considering they are 3.85 on average around the town...

Ok you save .85 cent but if you buy a bale of 10 that's a saving of 8.50

Yes the guy told me on Friday evening when I was buying some coal,

I think 3 euro is good, the spar shop (few mins away) selling them for 3.85e.

I reckon ill get a few 2mrw, nothing nicer than a few briquttes on the fire :)

    3 euro is excellent

Homevalue (space) in roscommon have 3.29 each or 10 for 32 euro they are flying out the door.

Overall price for bnm briquettes seems to have come down they must be trying to compete with the ****e ones from sligo fuels et. al which are much less dense and produce a huge amount of ash. Slaughterhousese has the rubbish ones for 2.80 or 2.95 I think - much less heat to be had off them.
