Photoshop HDR

I have CS3 version and recently ran the HDR program which you select the images you want to merge, in my case 3 exposures -1,0,+1, jpeg's btw. Photoshop then went off and crunched the images together and gave me a selection box for brightness/contrast etc, and then save image.

Here's my question, the save dialog box only gave the options to save the merged image file extension as a photoshop file or a HDR / a giff but not jpeg. Am I missing something, i've tried opening the HDR file and saving to other options but .jpg is not one, is there some other save-as command I'm missing? Also the merged file .HDR is a massive file 25Mb.

    Thanks.

Well, i could be wrong but I think once photoshop merges your images, you then have to convert it to an 8-bit file to be able to save it as a jpeg.
