How do you know what age group??

    Just havin a chat with the family here. Well I reckon my little girl could be running in the age group below what she has been running in the past season.
    So can someone tell me how to work out what age group she belongs to. I tried the athletic ireland web site but can't find anything relating to age groups.

    AAI races run under the rules you must be under the age on the last day of the year so if the girl is 12 next year she will run under 13 regardless of the date

    To complicate matters, for relays and cross country, athletes can move up one age group e.g. an Under 13 athlete can compete at Under 13 and Under 14
