I didn't realise it was this close to christmas until I posted that title!

Chelsea v Man UTD is the big one this weekend and theres some decent value for me in this (not always the case when the big 4 clash). The books are siding with the unders again which is the case more often than not in these games but if you're selective, you can take advantage of this. 5/4 for me is a decent value price on the overs. Note: If you bet with the exchanges, it's always worthwhile to wait 10-15 minutes before backing to get some extra value. Goals early on in these games are few and far between (if there is 1, you can back over 3.5). If 2 goals are scored befor 70 minutes, it's also worth trading out and equalising a profit.

More tips including outside bets on this game here for anyone interested

Incidentally, in terms of betting, the Blackpool v Spurs game has goals written absolutely all over it. Unfortunately the prices reflect this to a pretty high degree, which is hardly surprising. Defoe is over evens in some books to score and a Defoe brace 5/1 is a bet I'll be having and over 3.5 @ 11/8. Spurs available on the handicap @ 13/8.

That game is in serious doubt of even going ahead though isnt it?

can't see past blackburn myself and think 5/6 with pp is value

other than that i can't see how chelsea can be 6/5 v united
id have priced this one up at 6/4 each and am amazed that
united can be backed at 3.9 on bfair
they might not beat chelsea but i just cannot see utd coming
away with nothing and have layed chelsea at 2.24 for a lot
    more than i normally would
also layed spurs for a small amount at 1.68
got stung a few times backing against blackpool (esp away to bolt)
so maybe this time they can do me a favour
price is too short on spurs imo
as usual ill probably make a few quid laying and lose most of it backing :pac:

You've answered your own question here with regards to the pricing mate. While this match may look pretty even on paper, stats will show that away victories in this type of game are few.

These games are excellent for in running trading though - back UTD in running( early 2nd half) if the game does look very even and trade out if UTD take the lead.

So the Liverpool, Wigan and Birmingham games have been called off.

A few in the Championship likewise, including Cardiff, Pompey and someone else I missed out on.
