Personally I chose try no. 16 just because it was so epic. But try no.7 is a seriously slick try as well.

carter or dagg for me.dagg is the new benji marshall.

on a side note.i think ashtons try is over rated.england were illegal at the breakdown big time when genia got turned over and i would show any youngster how ashton carries the ball in the wrong hand for most of the run thus stopping him getting a hand off going ( if an aussie was quick enough to get to him).credit where it is due though-exceptional speed.

carters or daggs have more "nous".

It's a shame they only recognise test tries. For me the best individual try and best team try of the year were the following:

No.4. Dan Carter's sublime try against Wales - he made it seem quite effortless.

Ben Foden's one against France for me. Simple direct rugby, quick clean outs and fantastic quick hands coupled with some direct running.

yeah the pass is a bit behind him, throws a dummy, cuts in then out and beats lee byrne in to the corner.his second in that match was a beauty too

    Dagg for me.
scored a try out of nothing. Actually, worse than nothing.
Kiwis were going backwards - had just lost about 5-10 metres. Then Cowan throws it over his head, so he catches it with no forward momentum. still beats at least 4 defenders to score in the corner.
