buying a new oil boiler

    just looking for a good supplier of oil burners and a price guide to match,,cant seem to find prices online

    beware, cheaper is not better with boilers. A condensing boiler is dearer but up to 10% more efficient and that will save lots of money. the extra cost would be saved in a year or two.

    Hi,
    Yes deffo recommend a condensing boiler . It will also increase your BER rating and save you money.I find heat merchants prices ok. They are all over Ireland. Get a quote of them.

    I would always favour Grant boilers, phone locally for prices as if there are any warranty issues it`s easier to get it fixed.

    Generally Firebird or grant. You must fit a condensing boiler..... its the law...., _ there are a very few reason that exempts you...... unfortunately price is not deemed a good reason. Condensing boilers are more efficient only during certain operating conditions..... (discussion for another day)... ask your plumber which make he prefers.
