I am planning to set up a route for a cycle around my home area of Longford, Cavan, Leitrim, Roscommon and Monaghan. While I have covered large chunks of the route it has occurred to me that unless you have ridden a route before or unless someone has actually told you, it can be awkward enough to locate shops, food and supply shops through the night, in fact near impossible for large chunks of Ireland. I have lists of ATMs for proof of passage but it would be nice to have the option to stop somewhere for a few minutes. If anyone in the area could help me with finding or compiling a list of 24 hour shops etc. Probably best if we could eventually expand this thread to cover all the counties for people who are considering long distance riding that will encompass night time riding.

    Cheers
