trying to hook my UPC box to my projector

    Hi Lads im trying to hook my upc box to my projector so i can watch matches etc i seem to be having a bit of trouble when i tried scart to s video it came out b&w so i got a scart to vga online( it was cheap piece of ****e) i thought that would be the best bet but and it didnt work it could be it was cheap though so would it work if i got a better quality one?. anyone have any ideas on what to do ? the projector has VGA, HDMI, S Video, Video, DVI, USB, and RS232 connections, i was also thinking of connecting it to the tv rather than upc box somehow but im not sure if the tv connections are inputs or outputs..... http://reviews.argos.co.uk/1493-en_gb/5296417/reviews.htm thats the tv i have. Connections are RGB, HDMI x2, USB, Scart, VGA, SPDIF Coax out.

    Any suggestions would be great lads thanks in advance!!

    Which UPC box is it?

    We use a SVideo and RED/WHITE audio to our projector, works a treat. Our projector is an older dell non HDMI model though.

    Your projector may not allow HD content as certain device have HD protection i believe the UPC HD box has this so your projector would have to be HD compatible.

    its relatively new upc box, got in august and its the digital video recorder media box the projector isnt new though http://www.projectorcentral.com/Acer-P5280.htm its second hand from a friend. was mainly using it for films off my laptopt which it works fine for but since ive tried to hook it to the upc box for a few matches i havent had much luck
