    I'm awful tempted by this. I can't find it for anywhere near this price. Can anyone see any downsides?

    I'd say go for it if youve done your research on the price. I got a 37" LED for 600 from 1000 in August and couldn't be happier with it. Its still retailling for 800 and above. Their tv deals don't come up often but when they do they usually sell out fast too so I wouldn't hang about if its what your after

    I couldn't beat the price and couldn't find a thing wrong with it. Shocked there wasn't a thread here already. Bought one. Here's hoping I get it this side of Valentines :pac:

    Mine arrived in under 2 weeks so maybe they've gotten better on the deliveries. Vic Mackey what a hero!!!

    Cheaper doesn't necessarily mean better. Theres a lot more to a tv's stats than just the fact its LED and Full HD.

    Yes this would be wall mountable

    How much was this going for?

    Cant see it now. Some of LG's more expensive sets are very nice indeed so this could have been a gorgeous set for the price

    And can anyone see if this is actually full backlit LED or just sidelit LED? It says on the manufacturers page that it has "Local Dimming" which would imply full backlit LED but usually backlit LED tvs are very expensive.

    Edit that, actually this is edge lit LED but still could have been an excellent deal
