Several roads in Tuam are like glass under the snow this morning.
Tullinadaly Road is closed. Several collisions around the town.
Cars getting stuck at the top of Shop street and on Bishop street

Just back from town...all roads are gritted & safe.
Dunno about Tullinadaly & Old Road as they both have steep hills?

It took my Dad an hour to get from Tuam to Claregalway this evening. Lunacy out there!

What were the roads like this morning people?
I decided to start my Xmas holidays early and went back to bed.
Couldn't face the icy roads again

Pretty bad from what I heard, all the schools (bar Presentation Primary) are closed for Christmas because of the weather.

Heard it dipped to -12 this morning when mam was driving to the school.
