It's probably a bit late but thought I'd mention that despite no news announcement or timetable alteration, the Nitelinks are operating tonight. I don't know if this means they're running next week as well...

It would have been nice to know in advance, but I guess I just saved €40 so I'm happy ;)

Hmm...wasn't on either the homepage, the news page or the timetable page before I left this evening. Good to see it is operating almost all of next week.

It could definitely have been advertised better.

I'd love if nitelink offered services during the week, even limited services on Wednesdays and Thursdays. It would increase the bar and nightclub industries turnover considerably, given that for many people their only option for getting home is the nitelink, thus limiting them to going out on the weekend only. While there would be less demand during the week, I think a slight increase in the subsidy would more than pay off in the increased taxes raised by extra consumption and jobs.

Back when Nitelinks used to run on weeknights(the good ol' days!) they would generally be empty for the most part.

Usually the driver would ask me where I was going when I got on,and if nobody else boarded he/she would just drive straight to my estate and drop me off beside my house, was like my own giant taxi and for a fiver instead of nearly 30 euro's!.The service must have been haemoraging money.
