iphone hangs up after 2 or 3 rings

hey dudes and dudettes pretty much all in the title its really annoying does anyone know why its doing this?

Do you mean when people call you your iPhone only rings 2 or 3 times or the other way around?

when someone rings me it hangs up after 2 or 3 rings

Tallaght, do you have another sim you could try to see if its related to that?

nah i just have the 1 card its a 2nd hand iphone aswell if that helps

Is your phone jailbroken?
If its not it might be worth doing a update or restore thorugh itunes, obviously if its Jb'd and unlocked that way caution is advised in that regard.


does the same issue happen if you use your sim in another phone?
If you can try it in another phone, doesnt have to an iphone. It could be a sim problem.

IF your on a contract you can to a phone store and get a replacement sim and see if it resolves your issue Im not sure if they do sim replacements for Pay as you go so it might be worth ringing them if your on that.

That worked for me, I had the same issue when I first got the ip4. It didn't work the first time so I tried it again and it worked. Haven't had the issue since, even through multiple restores.
