Books/Articles on consideration?

I'm starting a paper over the holidays on Consideration, more specifically whether it is still applicable or should it be abolished.

I was wondering if anyone here can recommend good books or articles that deal with the subject as a starting point? I'm anxious to get them out before the college library closes for the christmas period.

Thanks in advance for any help.

I recall reading a few articles by Eoin O'Dell in the DULJ where he examined relatively recent caselaw involving the doctrine and how it has expanded.
