Help with our Aerial.

We were once able to receive very clear Irish channels, along with all the NI channels (BBCs NI, UTV, C4). But we had bad weather and now they have become significantly worse, especially the English channels. They are now very fuzzy but just about watchable.

Could the weather of done damage to the aerial, or could be just be a case that the aerial has moved and is causing this? The reason I ask is I was hoping that I could receive Freeview as I had good NI reception. I recently got Saorview in (from the same aerial by the way) and Freeview would be a great companion with it.

Could have been damaged/moved/waterlogged. It's a case of getting someone to check & possibly replace. (if you don't want to/know how yourself)

Hmm might have to. Seeing as I can get Saorview perfectly, I only wanted to fix it to see if I could get Freeview. There is still no guarantee Ill get it even if I do get it fixed.

Depends where you are & if you're receiving from a main transmitter in NI.
