How to easily locate a car on Done Deal

I noticed a few people complaining about the search options on Done deal. I know its not great, but did you know, you can refine your searches by using a semicolon ';'.

i.e. if you are looking for a Focus diesel 2008 betwen 10 - 15k. Use the advanced search to enter the money range. In your search field type Focus;diesel;2008

Another helpful tip to avoid cars that have Focus;Golf;Fiesta;911;tt etc... at the end of their description, is to use the above search and add 'Ford' to it. as most pr*ks don't put the car make in their anoying list of car types. so put the following into your search

    Focus;diesel;2008;ford

Works a treat. Many probably already do this, but as I said I notice a lot of complaints about the limited search facility!

Came up with your search. Also this eliminates a lot of focus'.

Just a tip for anyone who this annoys, use the report link and put in about spam keywords. I did it in a few and got great joy in getting emails from DoneDeal telling me they had been cut from the ads concerned. If they get enough reports they may do something to clean up the site

Done deal is a pain in the ass. I wish the search function would only scan the ad title. I was looking for a certain car the other day and the first page had everything from micras to pajeros and not one of what I wanted.
