When it gets dark outside early and all the street lights are on. Plenty of rain hitting the pavements and windows, even better a bit of wind.

Does anyone else feel the same way about winter?

Not when the rain freezes and makes getting to work a nightmare and dangerous and the car crashes........

I'd prefere it to being snowed in.

I prefer it when you are half awake in the morning snuggled up in bed, or you're just turning and it's still dark or just getting bright and you can hear the rain hitting the window hard with the gales in the background.

Unfortunately this is rare as most people have to get up but I love it. Im not so sure about daytime when you have to go through the wet streets and puddles and get splashed by buses and trucks and inconsiderate drivers and get drenched...but the bath/shower after is heaven!!!

It's nice when I'm all snuggled up inside and I can hear it outside, but not so good when I'm walking around freezing and wet.

    I prefer when it snows.

I love Cork so I do. Should be like the Vatican and be a republic within a state of a city.

It's great when its stormy in the winter and you are cuddled up inside listening to it howling outside but rain, meh I can do without the dampness of it all.

I look after him with free tinnies.

I love to stand at the window of my apartment and laugh at the people as they scurry along by the river and get wet. I think it means I'm a more successful person than them because they are wet and I'm not. If you are ever out on the Lee when it's raining and you see a bearded guy looking smugly at you, its probably me. Plus it stops people from loitering outside my window for a chat.
