How Long for Payment eBay

    How long do you give a buyer to pay for an item sold?

    I've sold a good few things on ebay over the weeks and have always received payment nearly immediately or on the same day. But 4 days ago I sold a PS3 game to a guy in Malta and he hasn't responded to emails. I haven't pestered him, far from it. I just sent the invoice straight away after the auction and emailed him about time of last postage that day.

    You know when you just get a bad about a buyer. He has 20 feedbacks 100%. Just can't understand why he would buy it and not want it as quick as possible before Christmas.

    4 days is getting on a bit...maybe email him and see does he still want the item

    What did you specify in the item listing about payment?

    Unfortunately I didn't say anything. It was for COD Black Ops so I thought (foolishly) that if someone bought that they would want it quickly. I did say that I would post it the same day as auction ends.

    Hmmm yeah i'd just email him then and ask if he still wants the item. Say it will be relisted if not paid for after 7 days?

    how much did you get for it just out of interest :D

    I once had to wait a week for a lady who lives just 15 minutes from my house to pay up. Send a polite reminder and ask if they have any issues. It could be they have some personal reason for it, so don't badger them yet. Give it a few more days.

    I allow 4 days and if no payment, send a payment request, and then log an UPI in 24 hours after that if they still havent paid.
