Hey guys im trying to sort out accomadation for alpes d'huez in jan. just wondering if anyone has been before is it a big town one place im looking at is on one the edge of town just want would it take long to walk when legs r not so steady at nite ;) also if anyone has any good accomadation links thanks.

Hi Tom,

Was there a number of years ago and its a fairly spread out town. No real centre or focus to the place.

Everywhere is a walk away to be honest! We stayed here, near the lifts. But as its France, all apartments are a bit of a sqeeze!
