good deal if you qualify, but its for a small few

If you live in Dublin and haven't had your car serviced in the last two years, (most cars serviced every 10,000miles or 15,000km) that means you are doing significantly less than 7,500km a year so would you bother having a car?

Kind of an offer to for the sake of saying they were giving free 5point checks to be honest.

    Thanks anyway op

Great way to promote your company by giving the finger to anyone who lives outside Dublin:rolleyes: I can add AA to the list of companies that won't be getting my business in future.

Stuff that! What's involved in a '5-point check' anyway?

I'm guessing brakes, tyres, lights, wipers, fluids sounds like they want to compile a list of scary statistics if its limited to people who haven't serviced their cars.

My friend has a starlet he hasn't serviced in 6 years and 50k miles. I've been trying to get him to adjust the tappets for 3 years and change the oil for 5. Finally figured out he's hoping it blows up so that the other half will sanction a new car - bet he wishes he had bought an alfa or a rover
