    Judge said that people with thin skulls should avoid towns on market day (when there would be liberal drinking and the risk of fights).

    Its the opposite to the eggshell skull rule / thin skull rule / you take your victim as you find him rule.

    Doesn't sound like it would be the opposite of the thin skull rule to me, seems more like a form of 'Volunti Non Fit Injuria/Contributory Negligence'. I would be interested in reading it though.

    Do you know if its and Irish case and whether it was relatively recent?
