Tesco Online Shopping

Is it possible to get them to deliver the stuff in bags? I placed an order there now and it says deliveries will be made without bags but I don't see an option anywhere to select to have the stuff packed into bags.

I won't be there to sign for it myself but someone else probably will and it would just make it easier for them to take care of until I get home.

I don't think they'll deliver stuff in bags as it may get damaged in transit. Tesco usually deliver stuff in small crates. Most drivers will wait for you to remove your shopping and will take the crate(s) with them.

My experience is that they leave the crates with you, get the hell out of there, and if you order again they'll take the crates back then

Any time I've had stuff delivered by them, the driver waited for the crates. Then again, I live in Clondalkin, he was probably afraid he'd never get them back. :D

They cannot leave the creates with you.

The driver will bring all the creates to where you want and you can unpack the groceries and check and substitutions. There has to be a person over 18 there to accept the order.

If the person accepts a fresh or frozen item, it cant be changed later due to change of mind, but it can be handed back to the driver for a refund.
