Well got my first c'mas card through the post today!

    From Fianna Fáil.

    Specifically Bertie and Cyprian.

On glossy paper full of unbelievable bullshít.
I cannot believe these corrupt cowboys are using taxpayers money to send out this unwanted rubbish.
Last thing I need is my blood boiling at this complete waste of taxpayers' money to promote their lies and hypocrisy.

Anybody else received these unwanted cmas cards using our money to promote their PR lies?

I really wish that it would become policy that no further money would ever be wasted on these pieces of very expensive toilet paper.

Did you write/email/phone to tell them that?

    Taxpayers' money?

I assume the envelopes, at least, are the Oireachtas ones. We pay for the P&P on those AFAIK.

Does Bertie actually have any type of governmental function anymore other than to bleed us dry.

Got that gem on Sunday deliverd at 8.30am.
Wrote a few choice words across Aherns face and sent it back to his rathole in Drumcondra.
Made me feel better anyway, cheeky bastards.

Why not go to a local clinic and tell him what your concerns are and how you realy feel?

It's easy to post a card, just go to meet him a clinic, you are a constituent.
Easy to say something behind a username, go meet your TD and say it there

TBH, with that man I would be done for GBH. So, no.
I have contacted and talked to most of the reps in my area, councillors and TDs and future candidates.
I would not have anything to say to Ahern other than verbal abuse and maybe more.
That is just the way it is regarding him.

Tbh, that's make you worse that the candidates or elected officials who represent you.

Yes go to their constituency office and get your views across. But the fact you cannot engage with Ahern for fear you'll lose self control says a lot about you.

You are passionate but you'll end up in Mounjoy for assault before you become a politician. After all, you are not even running and you are posting on GBH.
Get a grib and learn how to get your point across in an articulate fashion.

Would you relax? It says more about that odious get than me let me tell you.
That is my view on the most corrupt, useless criminal it's been the misfortune for me to witness in this country and that includes Haughey.
I am human - my blood would boil, I am not an automoton apparently like you. And glad that I'm not.
And who said I wanted to be a politician?
    And what's a grib?

Oh, don't get me wrong they have 'clinics' once a month. I will be there.

But why does not this expensive paper burn properly?
I am trying to figure out how to afford the fuel I am ordering tomorrow, it would have been great if they had sent firelighters instead of this unburnable stuff!

We should make our own cards.

Bertie is a common criminal. He took bribes. He placed fools in high paying jobs for that cash. He lied under oath and his excuses were ridiculed.

Yet he still is a chauffered TD, bleeding us of 300 grand a year, and whatever else he stole.

There is only 1 solution for Bertie. (hint . rage AT machine song)

Bertie Ahern and Cyprian Brady Christmas card:

I haven’t found the Ivor Callely Christmas card but here is a description of it:

{quote]Entitled 'Christmas Joy', his card features a nativity scene and is emblazoned with a passage from the Bible.

And tucked inside is a pull-out 2011 calendar, which maintains Mr Callely has an "unwavering, energy and dedication, born of a true passion for the public service". It is understood that the card has been sent out in an Oireachtas envelope -- paid for by the taxpayer -- and Mr Callely's office last night refused to comment.

not again, are we paying for someone elses christmas cards again, did they not skin us for enough already,

If they sent just a happy Christmas and a quick message then I would not have a problem with this but why do they feel the need to discuss how much has been done in DUblin Central

Pretty appropriate, given that it involves a family staying somewhere far away from home and getting expensive gifts as a result.

i can honestly say that this year we did not get a christmas card from any politician, we always got them from 3 or 4 , it never occurred to me that we the tax payer were paying for the cards we were getting, i would rather none if that is the position.
