Going to wear this for our annual big gang of friends' night out on Sat, but can't decide which shoes to wear with it.

I got gorgeous red shoes in Oasis today,but I think they might make the outfit a bit over the top. I have a pair of black patent platform heels from Carvela, but I'm not sure if it's a bit office-y with the pencil skirt shape. My other option is a pair of metallic slate coloured platform heels, I was thinking of these with a red cardigan (for some reason this doesn't seem over the top, while the shoes do?). Any advice?

I think the red shoes are lovely, I don't think they're over the top at all.
