Trade unions, Croke Park & the government

    I'm completely confused about this

    Facts as follows

The croke park deal gets voted on & passed, offers best protection to public service

Than trade unions campaign against the government and want to bring it down

If Fine Gael want to radically reduce the public service numbers, surely its in the best interest of the Unions to keep Fine Fail in power

    It just doesn't make sence

Fine Gael will probably require the support of Labour after the election, so no, I wouldn't necessarily agree with you there.

It seems like some sort of FG/Labour plan TBH.

FG get in by claiming they will cut everything.
Labour get in by claiming they will not cut everything.

Both sections covered, they both get in and we have no real change.

They will be destroyed at the following election with the above strategy IMO if it is the strategy.
