Absolute class, great video great song, I honsetly think this is one of the Frank's best songs ever, deserves much more recognition than it will probably get. Instead of all of these internet campaigns to plug random crap just to piss off simon Cowell or whoever why don't people ever get behind something as worthwhile and brilliant as this???

They are great indie pop band. That's not a bad song. Really looking forward to seeing them and the sultans of ping next week

This is class. I think it could be a perennial Christmas classic if it got the exposure. God bless the Franks.

:-D don't think any of them have yet! Only one I know of registered here and he hasn't posted.

I made the video, but not a band member.

Smiling Sadly is definitely not in the band.

Posted this before but no answer yet. Does anyone know who's topping the bill with the franks, sultans and POD gig? Can possibly get last LUAS home if it's POD :)

As it is 19 years since they have shared a stage, and to decide the running order of their upcoming Gig with the Power of Dreams in the Savoy on the 29th Dec in a fair and open way, Morty McCarthy from the Sultans has challenged Ashley Keating from the Franks to a penalty shootout to determine the headliner with the winner picking their slot.
As both Ashley and Morty are members of the FORAS Co-Op they have approached Cork City FC and goalkeeper Mark McNulty who have agreed to host the Shootout for what will be a unique way of determining the running order.
It will take place this Saturday 18th December 11am at Bishopstown ,Cork City Training Ground .
They will each take Five penalties and it will go to sudden death should they be level after the initial five penalties .
The Winner decides where they would like their band to appear on the Bill

    Its only fair

That was what it reminded me of too; of course lyrics from "How Can I Exist" appeared in the vid as well.

What kind of radio play is it getting? I see Paul McLoone playlisted it but what about daytime radio?
