Haven't used them myself but others on here have recommended In-House for their kitchens. They also do a range of bedrooms as well. Worth a try? http://www.in-house.ie/home.php

    Hiya,

I been trailin the north and south to get a resonable fitted wardobe and my advice is that you steer clear of the companys that specialise in these wardrobes as they are ridiculous prices.

Ring around for a decent and fairly priced carpenter or handy man. Ask him to price up making a carcass for you. Buy the doors from Homebase, argos, ikea or werever you can find nice doors for no more than about €80 each.

Ikea do fabulous inserts and if you have space left over, your carpenter should be able to fill in the gap with shelving or something.

Im filling a 2.57 metre alcove for €590 ( Would have cost €1900 if I have gone to the specialist wardrobes places.

Mother in law filled a 2 metre alcove for €600 last year too. Carpenter put in the carcass and she bought 4 nice wooden doors for €100 each from BnQ

Another cost saver is if you actually purchase some cheap thin wood or mdf and cover it with nice upholstering fabric using a staple gun (carpenter should be able to do this too) to make doors diy. Or they can simply be painted with high gloss paint for a modern high gloss look thats everywhere these days.

    Good luck!
