How much for washing machine repair?

    Following on from my previous post re. paddles coming off the drum - I replaced them and so far so good. However, there is a terrible noise coming from the machine when it spins. I've noticed some holes in my clothes from the last wash and on putting on my underwired bra today I see there's a wire missing :eek:

    I was quoted €50 for a nixer for this job. Is this reasonable? It's a straightforward job. The machine is a Beko and wasn't expensive. I can get a new one for €220.

    50 Euro is cheap.before you get him to come out just run your hand over the holes in th drum.the bra wire might be sticking out somewhere and you may be able to pull it through

    50 for any job on a washing machine is cheap regardless of the work involved really

    How much do you reckon you would pay for this in powercity,seen you know people and places ?

    Any time you have been on here looking for advise people have obliged you -so maybe you could pm the op and share your "contact" so maybe they can save money
    Other than that that your post will just appear childish ,as in you gloating that you can get it cheaper than them .
