Mini Sewing Machine wanted.

    I want to buy a mini sewing machine for my girlfriend. She saw one in Urban Outfitters but later said that it probably wouldn't be up to the job (it look more like a toy). I saw this online

    but 9th of December is last date for Christmas orders. Does anyone know where I could buy one in Dublin? Or does anyone know about the one sold in Urban Outfitters? This is kind of a stocking-filler so the most I could spend is €50.

    hi there, i know argos have a mini sewing machine, but i couldn't comment on the quality - they do tend to be glorified toys alright i'm afraid. they would not be able to sew any thick fabric for example. the mini sewing machine from john lewis is the only one i have seen getting good reviews, but i am not sure if they ship to ireland though.

    lidl had a sewing machine for 50e last week, if i was you i would chance that over a mini one for 35e. your girlfriend would be able to do a lot more with it i'd say, might be worth a look in lidl to see if they have any left.
