So does the crane stock hold the battery? Or is it in the front? Thanks.

The first generation of them were in the front, latest ones have been crane.

If I remember correctly, Mark had the original front-wired gun, but we rewired it to the stock for him so he could use the Magpul stock and a small-form LiPo battery.

Ah yeah was looking up the stock and some stated the battery sizes that would fit, god its a lovely stock better looking than plain ones anyway

Must have been a different T4-18 buyer T., mine is still front-wired. There isn't a whole lot of room in the front, it will take a 9.6v NiMh nunchuck of around 1500Mah or a small LiPo but I wanted a bit more runtime from the battery so I removed the gas tube and now run it on a twin-stick Kong Power 7.4v 1900Mah 22C LiPo.

When Oddy edited the vid he left out an important point. The gearbox internals are all stock but I did have Richie install a Prommy 6.03 tight bore and a Guarder Clear Silicone hop rubber. I absolutely LOVE this gun, it looks great, it performs great and it was easy to add some extra bits & pieces to pimp it out.

I can't recommend this AEG enough, it ticks all the boxes for me. However, if your budget can't quite stretch to a T4-18 a very good alternative is the GR15 Raider which also has blowback, the same working forward assist (I'm a bit hazy on this one, someone correct me if I'm wrong), it looks great and has the typical G&G quality. The one thing a lot of people look down is the nylon/fibre/polymer body, I think that's a load of cobblers because it is better made than many metal bodies on the market.

Can you tell me what kind of pistol-grip is that on it Mark?

The pistol grip is a G27, they are available in various colours from a few different online retailers. It is very comfortable to use so I would recommend it. I have also seen another similar grip that is adjustable for size.
