    Hi Guys,

Hope im not seeking free legal advise.. kind of think of this as a general question, but if its not then im really sorry!

basically we have a lease signed by us (the tennants) and our landlord but there is no signature of a witness, does this make the agreement invalid?

the reason there was no signature for a witness is because the landlord signed it then posted it to us and we signed it.. then send him a copy and kept one for ourselves

    all help appreciated..

No, the document is still valid.

    Witnessing adds credibility. That's all.

To "wittness" who actually signed the lease, but since you posted it to each other, I doubt if either side could claim they did not sign it...
