Completely forgot only for the gf reminding me now. We live off o Connell street and were both woken around 530 am tuesday morning by a very loud sound. The best way I can describe it was like incredibly loud clicking. Anyone else living in the city hear it?

A loud clicking sound like that could be a foundation drill machine/ pile driver winding up for another attack on the ground. However 5:30am I'm not too sure.

We had roadworks outside our apartment for a week before, and definately not a drill/piledriver.

Meh, it's been quiet since, but just curious as to what could make such noise. ;)

I was out a few weeks ago on a night out and at around 1am we heard an absolutely MASSIVE bang, i think it could have been a black cat or something but it was like a bomb, probably the loudest bang iv heard so it could be some scummers messing around?

It was a constantant clicking. Looking back, best way to descrie it was as if someone was outside out window hitting it sharply with the edge of a coin. Being in an apartment block, thats not an option. We do have window cleaners, but that wasn't them.

its been a long 15 minutes, seeing as their prank calls CD was being passed round limerick as far back as 2001, maybe even before!

I'd a mate who lived in a basement flat on Barrington Street that complained of clicking noises. I figured it was either really, really big rats in the old sewers or the electricity substation near the People Park.

Being a cult hit around limerick and more recently around Ireland is not fame , certainly not at the level they have now. Most people i know never heard of them before horse outside. My 10 year old nephew was talking about them last night.

Fair play to them and they should milk it for everything they can while they can.
