Bluetooth ford focus

ok not sure if I'm putting this in the right category but I have a 06 Ford Focus and I'm having problems pairing the bluetooth with my phone! The phone can find the ford but wont pair! I Have had other phones paired with the radio so maybe that is the problem?? Any help?
