At least I think that's what it's called. It's under the front bumper and it's a large black plastic section - one side of which came loose and bent forward while reversing through snow a couple of weeks ago. Can I just remove it - or does it have a purpose?

At least I think that's what it's called. It's under the front bumper and it's a large black plastic section - one side of which came loose and bent forward while reversing through snow a couple of weeks ago. Can I just remove it - or does it have a purpose?

Course you can remove it, there usually held by hard plastic type pop

screws. Its there to protect any stones flying up hitting any parts of the

engine.

Personelly, i'd take it off and repair it then put it back on.

Thanks Muckie. If it's too damaged to be repaired - what is the part called so I can call around scrap yards to get a replacement?
