hi! has anyone come across a problem im having with rev counter its an 03 golf 1.4 when engine is not running rev counter is way below the 0 so therefore when its running on idle its still below the 0 its working ok except it couldnt be accurate.could it be a censor?i would appreciate any information thanks.

I had a similar problem with the speedomoter on my 2002 1.4 golf..
was around time of a service that this happened so when it was looked at it was found only to be a loose connection as far as I can remember..
