    New Ryan Adams album out today on Itunes. In stores end of the week I think.

    With the Cardinals recorded in 2006. Double album.

    Few songs on YouTube. This is so very exciting.

    I'm looking forward to hearing this as I loved his stuff with the cardinals.

    Don't get your hopes up dude. He definitely put all the great songs on easy tiger.

    One full listen through and while there are some decent songs overall it's not great. Actually it's worse than that. One of the main things that struck me is that so many of these songs sound unfinished and half assed. Lyrically i lost track how many just repeat the same line ( or few lines) over and over and over. And once you notice it once it kinda sticks out alot. First impressions are it's on a par with last years EP. I'll give it a proper review in a week or two's time, so long as it can grab me enough to listen to it some more.

    I could be wrong but I believe it's an album of demo's, so that would explain the unfinished half arsed sound.

    No it is a proper album. It is a style of recording. Did it in a similar way with Jacksonville City Nights. Check out the documentary.

    Just got it today so giving it a few listens. I have heard a few of the tracks before on a rare tracks collections I have.
