    Hi Folks.

Brothers boiler is now acting up...I think i am cursed...#

The neon fan came on which indicates either blockage in fan flue or air pressure switch fault...

I dont want to know how to fix it because i am not registered and he is renting so has arranged a plumber but as i have never seen the fault in all the times i have delt with gas boilers can someone explain the fault...Why it happens and what the gas fitter usually does...

An estimated price would be nice as well...

does it try and start up joey or no?
Wondering if the fan has failed, or the capacitor on it.

You could invite gary, yoshy and knighted one out for a round table!:)

anyways hope it's something cheap and easy like a silicone hose to the switch or summat!

No it does not fire. It sounds like the solenoid valve does not even kick in. I have done the usual things with him like resetting etc...

Just googled the problem earlier in which it suggested the most probable cause is either dirt on the air switch or a faulty pcb...
