What else can the new xbox 360 do?

    Hi,

    Just wondering what other functions the xbox has apart from playing games?
    I know you can play music on it but does it come with any 'apps' like facebook, youtube, internet explorer etc? Can you surf the net on it??

    Its the exact same as the old 360 software wise

    It has a facebook and twitter app, but thats about it, the Zune marketplace is pretty good though!

    Facebook is soo soo poor... Its just pointless of being there tbh... English people have last fm AFAIK... And I think thats all we got a poor facebook and I never tried Twitter..

    Wish they at least gave us VidZone but maybe PS3 bought them rights? I have it on PS3 and it's awesome video service, to bad in Zune you have to pay for your music...

    You can rip music to the HD or play directly from a mp3 player such as an ipod through the usb ports.

    There's no internet browser.

    Is their anyupdate on the media files it plays, I have the old box and it won't recognise .mkv files :(
