    Belvedere House near Mullingar while I know its not Kildare
    have a Narnia theme santa which i hear is getting great reviews i think you need to book http://www.belvedere-house.ie/Events/Name,4020,en.html.

    Donadea forest park also have a great santa.

    Whitewater in Newbridge has a santa grotto, ya could go there and get some of your shopping done at the same time..

    http://www.stonebrookpetfarm.com/ in ballymore eutace was pretty good and it had mulled wine for the parents, tractor rides, farm animals etc. Better then the usual santa shopping centre experience.
