V-Drum Drummer wanted for recording project

    I'm a singer-songwriter with my own studio. I cannot record real drums in the studio so I'm looking for a drummer with V-Drums who would be interested in recording some tracks on an album.

    There is no money involved but I can try to payback in other ways, perhaps time in my studio or other barter.

    I'm looking for someone with some recording experience, ability to play to a click is desirable.

    The music is folk-pop-rock similar to Ron Sexsmith, Elvis Costello. Nothing overly complicated or demanding. Just needs a human beat behind it and the ability to add a bit of dynamic to the rhythm track.

    I have a bass player who is quite experienced and will be handling guitar & keyboard parts myself. Some other musician friends will be contributing lead guitar and horn parts also.

    The songs are written and demo'd but I want a musician who can input their own ideas.

    I'm located in Dublin and am flexible on days/times for recording. I can send samples of the material to anyone interested, no offense taken if you're not into it. No point in recording something you don't like.

    Just a note to say thanks to the various people who PM'd

    I've located a couple of people who look like they'll be involved in recording. This is great.

    If you're interested in joining in and have a v-drum kit (or can borrow one) then let me know. I'm hoping to get the first sessions kicked off this month but will be working on this album and follow-up material through the year.
