Cut a long story short, I had food poisoning for the best part of the weekend and today is the first time I feel sort of ok...I'm still retching and burping but I want to Train tonight, I'm starting to climb the walls and would love to hit some pads to get some of this frustration out of my system...is it recommended or is it a better idea to wait until I can climb the stairs without being tired?

If you've had food poisioning you've most likely been puking and had the run's?.. In which case you'll still be a little dehydrated.. Right now your body needs to hold onto its fluids, not lose more..

Tbh, I'd wait another day or two and concentrate on rehydrating yourself.

Why not drop down and sit through a session, its what I often do when I'm injured or sick.

Another thing to remember, esp. if you do any kinda of grappling - Judo or BJJ, those stupid farts just love to sneak out at the very worse of times - will you be confident your's will stop at just a fart?... :P

If you're sick stay away whether it be a cold/flu or the runs. If I even thought a training partner was sick I would avoid him.

Stay away for your own sake and your training partners sake.
