Is there either a public swimming pool in Killarney or a hotel pool that allows the non-guests in?

We take our toddler there and he loves it. There's 3 pools, a baby pool which is about 1 ft deep, a learner pool which is about 2 ft deep and an adult pool which is 20 - 25 metres in length. Prices are quite reasonable as far as I know.

There are a few other options in Killarney, some of the hotels have been offering non-guests access to their pools. We called a few of them when we first started taking our toddler but their prices are generally much higher than Aura.

Yup I go to Aura. (now called Killarney sports and leisure centre). Only thing is it can get busy. There are often school groups/swimming lessons going on. Here is a timetable.

I got to the Castlerosse, on the Fossa side of Killarney. Usually very quiet there. Has a 25m pool and a small kiddies pool.

Thanks all. Good to know the little one will be able to go swimming over Christmas.

Both the Aura and Castleross are outside town though. If you want somewere in town the Towers across from Cinema accepts non-guests for around E9.
At least it did last year.
