Bogus Charity Collectors

I was in two city centre pubs over the weekend and in came two young “ladies” dressed in Santa Claus outfits purporting to be collecting money for the homeless of Limerick. These people are not collecting for any charity and are lining their own pockets.

When I asked one of them what charity they were collecting for, she told me it was for the homeless of Limerick. When I asked for ID, she told me that I was harassing her and that she wasn’t obliged to carry identification on her (charity’s must have a permit to collect money in this fashion and are required by law to carry identification). When I approached them in both pubs they basically turned on their heels and left almost immediately. Parasites.

At a time, when all charity’s are feeling the pinch and the number of homeless people on our streets is rising, I find this carry-on disgusting. Unfortunately, these two were on our streets last year too. I've seen them operating in pubs on Thomas St, Catherine St and Cecil St.

Were they sexy santas or normal santas?
Call me suspicious, but if I was trying to scam drunken lads out of money at christmas, wouldn't be hard with two good looking girls wearing some skimpy santa suit to rake in the dough.

Two inbred scrubbers. A sniper wouldn't take 'em out.
