Going away for a few days over Xmas.
I usually stay in Quick Park, but can anyone recommend a cheaper place to park?

Find a free spot around Donnybrook or Ranelagh and then get the air coach.

Booking online saved me about 30euro
for a 6 day stay in the long term last week.

    Yeah, I'm just looking at
    http://www.airportparkingsite.ie/airport/dublin/parking/dublin_airport_parking.html

Ironically DAA has very good prices and Quickpark are by FAR the dearest.

Try Bewleys Hotel, free Shuttle bus to the airport also .
Short term parking is available from €1 per hour to a maximum of €8 for 24 hrs.

Have not used them myself, Seems reasonable TBH.

So far Crown Plaza is cheapest at €5 a day.

The DAA carparks can be gotten for 5.50 a day online.

Hi, I have used the crowne plaza for parking before and would recommend it. The free shuttle bus to the airport and back is a plus too. :)

Excellent, looks like the Crown Plaza it is!
Or maybe the DAA if I can't get the Crown.
I'm a bit hacked off with Quickpark, they started out as a cheap alternative to leaving your car at the airport and are now by far the dearest, it's only a matter of time before word gets around and people will leave their car elsewhere.

I'm a bit surprised by that actually - just tried it for a week and Quickpark was €42 compared to €33 with the DAA.

Make sure to give yourself lots of time if you're going to use a hotel with a shuttle bus. I can't remember which one I used, but we were waiting a little longer to be dropped off to the airport, and much longer waiting to be picked up.

Bewleys +1, It think it is really handy to get in & out of as well. If you book in advance it is cheaper I think.

Another good thing about Bewleys (for scattered people like me) which i found out by mistake is that you can charge your mobile in the lobby while having a coffee. I always forget my charger :-)
