Few app problems

    Eircom Wepkey: when i enter my SSID number 4 Wep keys come up.when i copy an paste these into a wifi found on the wifi app it says wrong password. What am i doing wrong?:o It would be such a handy app to have.

    Chomp mms/handcent: I downloaded 2 of these at different times. when i recieved a message i would get 2 beeps and 2 messages. one for the app and one standard.How do i stop this and just use the app? Ive went through the settings and couldnt find anything. Any ideas?

    Its a LG gt540 running on 1.6 meteor pre-pay

    Also if there is one available could someone please post a link showing a simple way of upgrading.

    If somebody changes their WEP password or uses WPA then the Eircom Wepkey app is no good. It only knows the defaults that Eircom provided a few years ago.
    Once that weakness became known Eircom fixed their problem on new routers so there'll be less and less routers each year that Eircom Wepkey is any good for.

    Go into the standard message app. Then go to settings and turn off the notification for received notification. I use Handcent and had the same prob. That fixed it for me.

    Also make sure you're copying ALL of the textbox, not just the numbers you can see. You can do this by long-pressing on the textbox and hitting copy all. But as the poster above describes, it's more likely that the eircom router you're near doesn't have that (wonderful!) flaw
