a little help please/ipod touch

    bought a 32gb ipod touch gen4 for the daughter yesterday
    but can someone tell me what to do with it:confused:
    i plugged it into my laptop and it opened up the autoplay window but nothing else happened.
    there is nothing on the ipod either there is a picture on the screen showing a usb cable and an i tunes logo.
    i also looked into the ipod but there is nothing installed on it is this the way it comes?
    how do i install stuff onto it music, pictures, etc.

    as you can see iam pretty cluless about these ipod thingys, so any help would be great

    I take it you don't have iTunes downloaded onto your computer? Go to http://www.apple.com/ie/itunes/ and download it, then retry the iPod, it should all work automatically from there. (Put some music on iTunes, and maybe get some Apps from the iTunes store to try out too.)

    You need to download iTunes to your computer and then set it up from there.
