im guessing you can buy one that will work with his phone, not really sure you could always go in and ask first

Buy it!!! He will love you to bits... And remember this, nearly every other phone out there is trying to be an iPhone...

They will deny it, tell you I'm talking rubbish etc., etc. But we know, There's only one phone and that's the iPhone. ;););)

    you have 2 options :
    1. buy a ready to go Vodafone one in any Vodafone store and it will work perfect.
    2. buy a factory unlocked one from www.apple.ie

Just note if you are buying an iphone4 you will have to get a micro sim to go with it!

HTC's lovely looking phones, even the budget end one's (Smart/Wildfire).
Think that good and all as Android is, iOS has it licked though. Top end HTC's may even be better looking than iPhone 4, but they run Windows mobile, so if you want to try a hand held 'vista' experience......eh, no maybe not. But there's serious competition about to be launched by Google in the new 'Nexus'
I've been reading some of the features and specs, and it looks like Apple may have to pull something very special out of the hat to beat this one. I think this one will be using the latest version of android (2.4)? Not cheap though, imported from US, with duty and VAT it's costing nearly a hundred quid more than an iPhone 4!
