Easiest club/driving range from city centre in Taxi?

I've recently moved to Dublin (city centre) and I'm having withdrawal symptoms.

I don't have a car though. What would be the nearest club/driving range within a reasonable distance (thinking taxi fare).

    I need my fix man...

Should also mention that I don't mind getting public transport as long as it's regular and close...and safe to bring clubs onto.

Elm Park is just opposite RTE in Donnybrook though I don't know what the welcome is like for visitors. A bit further out Castleknock, Lutrellstown and Westmanstown are all within easy strolls of a bus stop. Grange Castle (Clondalkin) and Elm Green (Castleknock) are and play type affairs that are cheap and easy to get to also. South side there is plenty choice around Rathfarnham (Edmonstown, Grange, Stackstown, Stepaside and loads more)

I play there once a year with a society and always get a great welcome from all the staff. However one of the organisers is a member so maybe that has a bearing. Nice course too.
